Freudenthal Yiddish Ensemble at Judiska Museet

Finally! We are back!

After two years of Covid etc. another concert with new Freudenthal musical meshugas. This time we are at the Jewish Museum in Stockholm.

Three years ago, Judiska museet commissioned me to compose music for its reopening in what used to be Stockholm’s first proper synagogue back in the 1790’s. The eight minute piece was performed by the Freudenthal Yiddish Ensemble on Sweden’s national day on June 6th.

The idea was to repeat this piece every year, then covid struck. But now finally we are back, with the original piece and four more for the same group.

1 PM on Monday June 6th at Judiska museet on Själagårdsgatan 19 in Gamla Stan in Stockholm

Be There!

The Freudenthal Yiddish Ensemble is:
Johan Christoffersson : Alto Sax and Flute
Magnus Dölerud: Tenor Sax and Clarinet
Ida Freij: French Horn
Staffan Findin: Trombone
Mattias Lindberg: Piano
Svante Söderqvist: Cello
